Hello
I have been training clients for ten years and I love helping people achieve their goals and feel better about themselves. Clients who have never picked up weights before are now hooked on strength training and that makes me so proud! In addition to weight and strength training I started practicing kickboxing and yoga over twenty years ago and my clients love that my workouts are varied and versatile ~ not every workout is the same.
Nutrition has always been very important to me and I enjoy creating healthy meal plans for my family. I would love to pass all of my years of training and nutrition coaching on to you!
My Story
I started working at an early age in Hotel Management. This career path gave me an incredible work ethic and taught me that no matter what the situation, I can always find a solution. Hotel management took me into the corporate world where I worked in marketing for large brand companies and enjoyed building relationships with vendors and collaborating with team members.
This past year, I was diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer and came to the realization that I just wanted to pursue my passion for personal training to have a greater impact and make a difference in more people's lives. My healthy eating regimen that included a cancer fighting diet combined with my specialized strength training workouts made my six months of treatments extremely successful.
Being a competitive tennis player throughout my life and now as a 4.5 USTA rated player, I understand athletic conditioning and what is required to perform at one's optimal level of health and well being. During my experience in working with several college athletes, I have developed the necessary tools for healthy eating to help them perform physically at their highest level.
I have also personally overcome several sports related injuries which have given me a keen understanding of how to implement important rehabilitation techniques.
